Where do the Bunnies go, when Easter is gone?

The animals of Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom did set up the table for dinner on a typical day in April, which has been sunny, stormy, hot, cold, wet and dry on the same day. Just exactly how you would imagine such a day in April.
It wasn't a special occasion, but they always set up their table in style, so they did go for napkins made of beautiful fabric and they put on their orange, white felted napkin rings, decorated with beautiful flowers, when immediately a group of Bunnies jumped onto the table and placed themselves on the napkin rings.
Everyone was supremely surprised about the visitors as no one has seen a Bunny since Easter and together they had a really joyful dinner with lots of laughing and delicious food and lots of carrots for the guests and the Bunnies told easter stories which caused a lot more of laughing and also other funny Bunny stories. They all enjoyed themselves and had a great time.

It was long, long ago when the resident Dragons decided to move on and told the Unicorns that they would leave.
'And where will you go to?' Elvin, one of the Unicorns, asked.
'We will fly to the grey mountains and meet with other Dragons of our kind' the eldest of the Dragons said.
Elvin asked if they would come back after some time and the Dragon said that they did not know, but it was possible that they would come back one day.

When Elvin looked very sad the Dragon gave each of the three Unicorns a gift of three Dragonflies, and the Dragonflies had the same colors the Dragons had.
The three Unicorns Elvin, Lily and Faye smiled brightly and were truly happy about the generous gift from the Dragons.

When they said their goodbye it was an amazing picture of Unicorns, Dragons and Dragonflies as the sun came out and made the whole party of them glitter in unbelievable beautiful colors.

Then the Dragons promised that they would do their best to come back one day and the Unicorns touched the ground around the Dragons as a blessing for a save journey ...

... and the Dragons took off and since that day, which is long gone, the Dragonflies accompanied the Unicorns and became their closest friends.

Loop Owls new friends

A grey day in the middle of February.
Loop Owl looked outside to check if maybe there was a little bit of blue sky visible and in the very same moment the sun came through the clouds and suddenly an amazing azur-blue Dragonfly stood in the air exactly in front of Loop Owls eyes. Dragonflies wing beat was extremely fast and Loop Owl stared at her and was absolutely amazed how the blue Dragonfly could "stand" in the air in front of her.
'Where are you from?" Loop Owl asked and Dragonfly said that they came from the big lake not far away from this place, of which Loop Owl never had heard before. And then four other Dragonflies joined the azur-blue one and they all stood in the air in front of Loop Owl and smiled their brightest smiles.
'Wow you all are so beautiful, hello to you!' Loop Owl said and looked at them with wide eyes. Each Dragonfly had a different color and they all sparkled in the sunlight.
'Hello little Owl, you're very beautiful, too' the Dragonflies said and circled twice around Loop Owl which made her laugh.
'Please would you like to meet my friends from Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom and join us for tea-time?' Loop Owl asked and the Dragonflies smiled even brighter and were happy to join Loop Owl and all the others for a while.

A witch? Must be magic

Discovered by some Owls of Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom was a hat of a witch as well as a broom, a black cat and a magical wand.
Everyone was caught by pure excitement when they examined the magical pieces.
The braver ones, such as Cool Tiger Owl even tried the hat on which lead to many "aahhhhs" and "oohhhhs" and much admiration by the lesser brave ones.
'Where do this things came from?' they asked and looked at me.
'They've been left on our doorstep yesterday morning' I told them and stroked the black cat which replied with a sort of magical "meeeowwww" (looked like she enjoyed beeing with us and would not unravel the mystery).
Now each one of them seemed even more excited and the rest of the day they kept staring at the magical pieces and whispering unbelievable stories where all of this may come from.

A tiny whale came along the way

Bonsaii was a little bit surprised when a tiny whale crossed her way.
'Hello, hello, and who are you?' she asked.
'I'm the tiny whale' the tiny whale said with a bright smile.
Bonsaii smiled back and wondered were he came from.
'I come from far, far away, from the big ocean' whale said and kept smiling.
Bonsaii admired his oceanblue beads and then she took him on a round through Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom to introduce him to everyone.
While having a cup of tea and some scones with strawberry jam and cream the tiny whale told them about the big ocean and his journey and everyone was really delighted to hear such amazing stories. Blue Grey Joe said he has seen the Ocean once and there was even more amazement by everyone (Blue Grey Joe still is a mystery, as no one knows how old he is and where he came from).
Finally they all agreed that together they would see the ocean one day and then ...

I felt hundrets of eyes staring at me ...

I looked to the right, where my husband was sitting ...

We are lucky ... there is SNOW

Noble Grey Zebra Owl waited for a very long time and spent hours staring out of the window to check and double-check if it's snowing (as he truly LOVES snow very much and knew that at this time of the year at least we have a chance to see some snow). As you can imagine he was MORE than excited when finally thick flocks of snow came down from above and covered everything in white.
'It's snowing, it's snowing' he screamed and I was really surprised to see him jumping up and down in excitement.
Then he grabbed his scarf and only a few grey feathers where seen, when he rushed outside to jump straight into the snow.
You would not believe it as he is such a noble and elegant owl and never would jump or run, or speak too loud or anything, but the snow made him romp through the garden like a little kid.
All of the Owls gathered in front of the window and stared in disbelieve at Noble Grey Zebra Owl who jumped around outside in the snow (sometimes he could not be seen as he disappeared completely under the snow).

When the first shock about Zebras behavior calmed down, Cool Tiger Owl, Bonsaii and Brownie decided to join Grey Zebra outside in the snow. They put on their scarfs and also jumped outside. All of them had a great afternoon and all the other Owls of Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom spent the rest of the day in the warmth behind the window drinking some tea and eating some scones while watching the others playing outside.

Little Bonsaii on a walk

Little Bonsaii, in her snowy owl outfit, was ready for a walk and she seemed unsure what to expect from her walk, so I suggested she could take her ball with her (which in fact is an ornamented bead that fits perfectly under her wing), so she could play with someone if she would meet a friend.
"well, that's a good idea" she replied, took the ball under her wing and gone for a walk.
I did not know which way she was heading but later that day I have seen an Etsy Treasury showing all of the guys she met on her walk:

Robins nest discovered

The Owls of Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom are often out and around to have a look what's going on. They have been VERY surprised when suddenly they discovered a Robin on his nest.
'Look who is that?'
'Must be a Robin'
'Hello' the little Robin said
'Ahhh'
'Ohhh'
'Hello, hello, hello' (lots of hello's from our Owls :-)
'Does he have some eggs in his nest???'
'Yes, seems so, let's ask him if he will show them to us!!'
'Do you have some eggs in your nest?' they asked him - and 'please, please show them to us'
So Robin jumped off the nest to show his eggs, and they absolutely adored the three little blue eggs which looked so perfect and laid warm and cozy in Robins nest. (Robin was a little bit proud as he loved these eggs on his own very much).
They politely said lots of 'thanks' to Robin and promised to soon visit him again and bring some tea and scones, then (-:

STRAWBERRY RED SCARFS - FINALLY

Cool Tiger Owl and Noble Zebra Owl
- the initial idea (red strawberries in October)

As we had a conversation about improvement short ago (with Sweet Loop Owl) each and every Owl of Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom asked for some improvement ... between all the others Noble Grey Zebra Owl and Cool Tiger Owl also came to ask ... (maybe you remember - we had a day of bright sunshine in October and Zebra and Tiger went outside and found the last strawberries of the season. They were very excited and soon they came up with an idea of strawberry red scarfs: http://exlibrisstudio.blogspot.com/2009/10/tiger-and-zebra-have-been-outside-today.html )

Today both suddenly stood in front of me and sort of "stared" into my face
'And what is this about?' I asked them.
'We think we are on top of the improvement list now'
'aha?' (I tried to give me a somehow innocent look, as if I had no idea what they are talking about)
'You know - improvement?!?' (Cool Tiger Owl - straight forward)
'We would like to ask if you have some time now to discuss our further improvement, please' (Noble Grey Zebra Owl as polite as always and I would have expected nothing else)
'Ah, yes - improvement' (short pause ;-)
'And what exactly would you think of?' I asked them
'Strawberry Red scarfs' (Tiger again - straight forward again)

Expectant looks on their faces ...

'Ok, ok, no problem'

Happy looks on their faces ... :-))

10 minutes later they both had very chic strawberry red scarfs and we had another foto session, all the owls where around, lots of 'aahs' and 'oohs' again and comments about how 'stylish' they look and both have been VERY proud about their improvement. 'Which sort of improvement do you think of, Loop Owl?'
'Well, maybe a little sparkle, you know?'

'Well yes, maybe, if it's possible and if you can think of something suitable, you know, not too glitzy and nothing that draws too much attention, just a little sparkle, maybe a little color?'
'I'm sure Sweet Loop Owl that we will find something suitable, how do you think about azur blue?'

Some minutes later we had lots of 'ooohs' and 'ahhhs' from the other Owls, when Sweet Loop Owl presented her new, improved look (which also was approved by her closest friends, the very stylish Owls). THE OWL WEIGHT CONTEST

The Owls of Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom had a Weight Contest today. Now everyone is curious who's light and who's heavy. Here are the results (Heavy on top):

BROWN OWL IN ETSY TREASURY

One of our tiny owls 'Brown Owl with Grey Wings' made it into an Etsy treasury. That is because she loves to decorate herself with flowers, as you can see in the photograph.
'I really love flowers' ... almost a whisper from beside the keyboard, where she sits at the moment (a little bit proud, as she made it into a treasury at Etsy :-)
'We know, dear'
'You know?'

'I especially like violet flowers!'
'And why is that, little Brown Owl?'
'I think the color suits me'
(Lot of 'Ahhs', and 'Yes', and 'Sure it does, little one' from around her (our very stylish Owls are here also), where the whole bunch of Owls sits as they wanted to know if I would catch a treasury and also if one of them would be in the new treasury)
'Who wants to be in the next treasury?'

NO ... SNOW

... 'are you sure?' he asked and appeared somehow shocked.
'well, yes' I said and had another short look outside the window to double-check if there REALLY is no snow any more (and there isn't any, I'm really SURE! Outside were only our bright orange grinning pumpkin from Halloween and a lot of raindrops).
'but there was some yesterday, wasn't it?'
'yes, there was and it was beautiful'
Noble Grey Zebra Owl seemed very confused and continued to stare out of the window as if he could bring back the snow by the sheer will of his mind.

'Shall we check the other windows, also?' he asked.
'Yes, sure we can, but I doubt that THERE will be snow'
'Hmpfff'
'Won't you say hello our dear readers, Zebra?' I asked
'Well, yes, please write that I give them a very, very warm welcome and that I'm happy that they are here, it's really a pleasure for us to have them here' (Noble Grey Zebra is ALWAYS a very polite and elegant Owl, he had a very noble upbringing)
And he turned around instantly to concentrate on the raindrops and if they maybe will turn to snowflakes again.
I really think if I should go outside and throw a few paper-cuttings in white just to make him think it's snowing and be really happy again ....

STRAWBERRY RED

Tiger and Zebra have been outside today in bright sunshine and were very excited when they found two very late, but ripe strawberries in perfect Strawberry-Red. Yum-Yum!

Seems like this will be the last strawberries in Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom for this year, as we already have strong winds and cold conditions.

The Owls already think about some scarfs for winter ... hmmmm - maybe in Strawberry-Red??

We have been outside today, the whole bunch of owls, it was great fun, the autumn sun was shining beautifully, it was warm and all the leaves are in bright colors already (see me in the middle of some orange-red ones?). 'Cool Tiger Owl' and 'Noble Grey Zebra Owl', some of my closest friends, found the last strawberries of this year, yum, yum (-: We also had some interesting discussions about styles and trends. It's very beautiful in Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom, I have been watching some birds together with 'Noble Grey Zebra Owl' yesterday, which came to our birdhouse, as it starts to get cold and windy over here and they enjoy our bird food (no - we do not eat birds, we feed them, everything is a little bit different in Bonsaiis Owl Kingdom!).
It is impossible to watch birds with 'Cool Tiger Owl' (he can't sit still for a second) and also with 'Dancing Owl Princess' (she's dancing a lot, cute, but not so good for watching birds), but that's ok. 'Grey Zebra' is a great companion for things like that (-:

I'm a very stylish Owl, got three very, very close friends (and many more who are also close, but not "that" close) and we are a pack of very stylish Owls, maybe there will be more stylish Owls in the future, but recently we are 4, with two girls, who are "Sweet Loop Owl", "Dancing Owl Princess" and two guys, who are "Noble Grey Zebra Owl" and myself "Cool Tiger Owl".
